New opportunities for Kujawsko-Pomorska Digital Library users
2008-06-06Any KPDL user, who has already set up an account on our digital platform is capable of using new functions available together with our new software version.
Logged-on users can:- - create a list of favored publications,
- - recommend publications to others,
- - describe a publication with private keywords/tags, which are not seen by others,
- - evaluate the publication,
- - suggest tag descriptions to publications.
The above-mentioned functions are available on pages with bibliographical descriptions and in a reader's profile. The users are encouraged to set up an account and login.
Within the framework of bringing the platform up to date an extra DjVu browser is embodied, thanks to which the users without accounts will be able to get acquainted with the content of a selected publication freely.
I hope that those innovations will cause KPDL more reader-friendly.
