KPDL Regional Seminar

The Nicolaus Copernicus University Library intends to organize (5 November 2008, Torun) a regional seminar for institutions promoting culture interested in participating in creating digital library (KPDL) resources. During the seminar the following will be presented in detail: the digital project and the KPDL content, than plans for the future. Arrangements were also discussed about the possibility of participation in the work and finding sources of funding for the project.

The preliminary program of the seminar:
  1. The official opening of the meeting
  2. The project KPBC - resources and plans for the future
  3. Software and technical capabilities of the KPDL
  4. The national network of digital libraries - the benefits of networking
  5. Credit cooperation in the region
  6. Proposed/suggested forms of cooperation
  7. Workshops of digitalization in the region.
